My good friend and fellow spinner, Kristin (August Moon Farm), invited me to join her spinning at the Vintage Market on Saturday. We spent a few hours demoing spinning and chatting on the porch with the market visitors and volunteers.

Read MoreI'm honored to announce that my weaving entitled "Secret Garden in the Eye of the Storm" will be on exhibit at the Bellefonte Art Museum in October and was featured on the event page for the exhibit. This was the final project I completed for the Journey to the Golden Fleece Course I took last year and was selected along with 19 others to be on display as part of their fiber arts festival.

Read MoreThe fiber arts world is very small. I really enjoy getting mail from Indie Untangled, a comprehensive site to bring together yarn lovers and amazing products from indie artisans. So I was gleeful when I saw my stock image of my handspun yarn and favorite blue bowl that was used in a Design Seed featured in Lisa's post about the color teal. After a little digging I discovered that it was also featured in Apartment Therapy's post on Design Seed's site relaunch.
